seems to be dogs bred for sheep/livestock handling have to have enough brains to make them good to have around, but enough muscle to do some good if required. Sounds like you have quite a pack. Not sure how I’d feel around such an array, but then that’s kind of the point, isn’t it?

I can see why a visitor might keep a very polite frame, or a great distance, or both.

Well one of my best buds runs the local Pitbull rescue and I guy I spent some time… doing stuff with and his wife run a Great Dane rescue. So I took their hard to place doggies for no other reason then I have the space and aptitude. They settle down fairly quickly but I have to do the introductions correctly. The Danes 1st, then Boy, then Girl and in small groups. I had 7 friends and their old ladies over this weekend with neary an incident.
